I work as a photographer, sound artist and writer and have 17 years professional experience exploring cultural identity and the relevance of belonging for personal and environmental wellbeing. To this end I have held residencies in Canada, Australia, Scotland and Bolivia and been an Arts Fellow of the Australian Antarctic Division. Whilst on location, I spend time with the local people and gather their stories, collaborating with them to take their photographic portraits against local locations, with the aim to creatively present and share language and culture, primarily of minority groups, endangered language groups or endangered environments.

Opening night, Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, Brisbane
